Examples of the work I made in the 1980s.
Stanley’s brother had died a few days before. I said I’d come back but the kettle was already on, so I stayed. He just needed someone to talk to. This is from Southlands, made in the mid-1980s. The subjects were men on conditional release from prison.
From Roll Up, Roll Up, shot at a circus in the mid 1980s (spot the camel?). I’ve found some rejected exhibition prints from the project. Hopefully the negatives will show up too.
